Nanny Wanted - Parents Of A Newborn Looking For An Experienced Infant Nanny In Cambridge, On. 4 5 Days A Week!

We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on nanny for our 6-month-old, from now through the end of October 2026, with a possibility of extending till Dec 2026, when our child will transition to daycare. This role requires genuine infant care experience — not general babysitting or experience only with older kids. We’ve had two previous nannies who weren’t able to independently manage a full infant routine, so we’re being very specific this time about what’s required. Responsibilities

• Full nap and sleep routine management (wake windows, settling, safe sleep practices)
• Bottle feeding and solids, adapting to the baby’s cues and pace
• Diapering and related hygiene, throughout the day
• Baby laundry (bottles, linens, clothing) as a normal part of the day, without being asked
• Tummy time, developmental play, age-appropriate stimulation
• Simple daily log of naps, feeds, and diaper changes

Requirements — Please Only Apply If You Have:

• Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience specifically with infants 0–12 months (please state this clearly in your application — general “childcare experience” without infant specifics will not be considered)
• Comfortable running the full daily routine independently
• Current infant/child First Aid and CPR certification
• Valid vulnerable sector police check, or willingness to obtain one before start
• 2–3 references who can speak specifically to your infant care (references for care of older children only won’t be sufficient)
• Reliable transportation to Cambridge, ON
