Part-Time Nanny – Cambridge, ON (Churchill Park area) We are a family near Churchill Park in Cambridge, ON seeking a patient, warm, and reliable nanny to care for our two young children: a 2-year-old son and a ~4-year-old daughter who has cerebral palsy. This is a meaningful, ongoing role with a family that values consistency and genuine connection. Our daughter has high care needs and requires attentive, knowledgeable support. We're looking for someone who is comfortable and confident supporting children with complex physical needs, and who will engage both children with energy, creativity, and warmth.

[SCHEDULE]

Start date: ASAP Total hours: 20 hours per week (open to expanding over time) Core hours: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–6:30 PM Potential for expanded hours after demonstrated compatibility, including:

• Weekday mornings before school drop-off
• Later weekday evenings
• Weekend shifts

[RESPONSIBILITIES]

• Receive daughter at home from the school bus each weekday afternoon
• Safely transfer and load daughter's wheelchair in and out of the vehicle as needed
• Occasionally pick up and transport children for outings, activities, or appointments (family vehicle provided)
• Prepare and serve meals and snacks for both children
• Administer g-tube feedings for our daughter following family protocols
• Support and encourage use of daughter's eye gaze communication device
• Assist with positioning, transfers, and use of specialized seating supports
• Engage both children in age-appropriate play, activities, and reading
• Maintain a safe, tidy, and nurturing home environment during care hours
• Communicate daily with parents regarding meals, mood, and activities

[QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS]

• Legally entitled to work in Canada; no sponsorship available
• Physically able to lift approximately 40–45 lbs
• Valid driver's license
• Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (must be obtained prior to start)
• 3 references required: 2 personal, 1 professional
• Reliable, warm-hearted, patient, and energetic
• Genuine interest in and understanding of children's growth and development
• Comfortable and confident working with children with physical disabilities

[PREFERRED]

• Early Childhood Education (ECE) diploma or equivalent formal training
• Experience caring for children with cerebral palsy or complex physical disabilities
• Based in or near Galt area of Cambridge, ON, given the after-school hours and need for reliable, on-time arrival

[COMPENSATION]
