Director of Network Development at Xplore

Xplore Inc.

Lead the transformation of Xplore Inc.'s networks as the Director, Network Development & Operations. Drive automated, Tier-1 service delivery to ensure reliable and efficient broadband for rural Canadians. Take charge as the Director, a senior leadership role responsible for managing network architecture into automated production. Your expertise in IP engineering, DWDM automation, and CI/CD will be pivotal in enhancing performance and reliability. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with business goals. Key Responsibilities:

Oversee detailed IP and DWDM engineering processes
Build CI/CD pipelines for network automation
Manage telemetry and observability tooling
Implement guardrails for operational risks
Lead financial performance tracking for network operations

Requirements:

15+ years in network infrastructure engineering
Proficiency in routing protocols and DWDM systems
Experience with caching platforms and automation tools
Strong communication and leadership abilities
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
