About the role

DNV's Business Assurance North America is seeking a Business Development Manager for the IT Sector (ICT). In this important role, you will identify and nurture opportunities for existing and new business in sector to assure its growth.

This role is 100% remote in Toronto, ON Canada.

What You'll Do

  • Achieve sales targets within the ICT sector
  • Identify new sales channels and prospect new accounts in target markets
  • Assist in researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives
  • Monitor and following up on opportunities, leads and proposals, and ensure a current and accurate pipeline
  • Building long-term relationships with new and existing clients
  • Prepare quotations for key clients and ensure contracts are signed and in compliance with DNV procedures and authorizations,
  • Cooperate with the operations department in setting priorities for IT (ICT) per ICT regional business plans
  • Assist in the creation business development plans aimed at achieving sales targets

DNV provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role. The actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. The range of starting pay for this role is $120,000 - $130,000CAD plus commissions."

About you

What is Required

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Five (5) years of experience as a Sales Representative
  • High-level understanding of IT (ICT) industry, its supply chain and the relevant Management Systems Standards
  • Working knowledge of business assurance/third-party auditing
  • The ability to analyze sales figures and write reports
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% Domestically and 10% Internationally (International travel will be to the United States only)
  • English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience working with various IT programs (MS Office and PowerBi)
  • Negotiating skills
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
