Human Resources Business Partner - Eurofins Environment Testing Western Canada, Inc.

Eurofins seeks an HR Business Partner to support environmental laboratory operations across Alberta and British Columbia. This generalist role involves advising managers on employee relations, talent development, compliance, and organizational effectiveness while maintaining regular site presence.

Responsibilities

• Coach and advise managers on employee relations, performance management, talent development, and organizational effectiveness
• Support recruitment, selection, onboarding, and retention initiatives across multiple locations
• Guide managers through employee relations issues, investigations, accommodations, and complex workplace situations
• Design and deliver tailored learning and development programs based on identified needs
• Support compensation, benefits, recognition programs, and salary review processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Industrial Relations, or equivalent education and experience
• 3–5 years progressive HR experience, preferably in multi-site, laboratory, or technical environments
• Working knowledge of Alberta and British Columbia employment legislation and HR compliance
• Experience managing employee relations matters with discretion and practical judgment
• Strong communication, relationship-building, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and HR systems, data, and reporting tools
• Ability to coach and influence leaders across multiple sites
