Director of Aviation Operations at Nutrien

Lead the aviation team at Nutrien in an influential Director role focused on safety and operational excellence. This position not only requires aviation expertise but also hands-on flying and overseeing a high-performing team.
As the Senior Director of Aviation Operations, you will oversee all aviation activities, ensuring safety and compliance while actively flying company aircraft as needed. Your strategic leadership will foster a safety-first culture and enhance operational effectiveness. You will also be responsible for managing aviation budgets, fleet maintenance, and stakeholder relationships, driving decisions that support company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and develop the aviation operations team
• Oversee planning and execution of aviation missions
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards
• Implement risk management strategies and emergency plans
• Serve as the primary point of contact for aviation operations
Requirements:
• Minimum 2000 PIC hours on large turbine aircraft
• 15+ years in corporate aviation operations with leadership experience
• Bachelor's or Master's in aviation management or related field
• Licensed to fly Gulfstream 550/450, with experience
• Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
