Analyst - Capital Market Operations - Integration position T2

A career in the International Market Events and Revenues team in the Capital Markets Operations at National Bank means putting your expertise to work in the evolution and execution of capital markets business strategy and wealth management. It is a job that allows you to live your ambitions in complicity and the power to act. Thanks to your involvement in the various related processes to Market Events, you participate in the transformation of the Bank.

Your job:

· Analyze information received on market events and write memos for investment advisors.

· Collect, compile, and verify the accuracy of the varied and available data and reflect it in the client portfolios.

· Identify all risk elements associated with a file or situation.

· Analyze securities position and prepare accounting entries to reflect mandatory and optional reorganization events in client accounts.

· Interact with the various sectors of the Bank and more experienced professionals in order to offer support in daily operations.

· Identify the needs of stakeholders, identify the problem presented and adapt your interventions, while providing quality service.

This position reports to the Senior Manager of Capital Market Operations.

Prerequisites:

· Be a holder of a university degree or academic equivalent, and four years of relevant experience

· Experience related to securities operations

· Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines

· Knowledge of ISM, AS00, XSP, desirable

Languages:

• Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will frequently interact with service providers or partners who speak a language other than French
• Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly carry out tasks that require the use of IT applications and tools unavailable in French
• Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will frequently serve clients who speak a language other than French
• Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will collaborate with a regulator, authority, government body or other entity outside Quebec

While only one level is posted, the manager has the latitude to position the selected candidate at a lower level, depending on their profile.
