Director of People Operations in Edmonton

Take a lead role in strategic HR with APS in Edmonton, Alberta. This hybrid position focuses on HR leadership, talent acquisition, and enhancing employee experiences across the organization. As the Director of People Partnerships and Operations, you will guide all HR functions, including developing talent acquisition strategies and overseeing HRIS. Your strong background in employee relations will be vital for advising executives and ensuring best practices are followed to foster a positive culture. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic and operational HR initiatives for APS
- Collaborate with executives to develop HR programs
- Manage employee and labor relations processes
- Oversee HR system functionalities and reporting
- Coach and mentor a cooperative HR team
- University degree in HR or related field
- Progressive senior HR leadership experience
- In-depth expertise in employee and labor relations
- Proven experience in process improvement
- CPHR designation preferred
