Nakile is a 48-bed long-term care facility located in the Municipality of Argyle, just 22 km from Yarmouth. We highly value our home-like atmosphere and have been recognized as a healthy workplace. We are seeking RN's with a genuine interest in working with the elderly to join our team.
Qualifications include :
- Current registration with NS College of Nursing
- Strong leadership, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work Days, Evenings and Nights (8-hour shifts)
- Experience in long-term care or similar environment is considered an asset
Duties include :
- Provide and coordinate resident care within RN scope of practice and Nakile mission and values
- Supervise and administer medications and treatments
- Assess initial and ongoing health status of residents
- Work collaboratively with residents, co-workers, families, physician and community
