Expert Advisor, Capital Governance Role

Drive regulatory capital governance at BMO Financial Group as a Senior Advisor in Toronto, ON. Ensure compliance with OSFI guidelines and lead enterprise-wide initiatives.
In this key advisor role, you will oversee the capital adequacy framework and interpret evolving regulatory requirements, including those for digital assets. Key Responsibilities:
• Direct governance framework for CAR and TLAC interpretation
• Strengthen accountability across regulatory capital functions
• Evaluate new regulations and adjust programs accordingly
• Offer advisory support on Credit Risk and FRTB
• Champion internal and external capital governance discussions
Requirements:
• Minimum 7 years of risk management experience
• Degree in a quantitative discipline like economics or mathematics
• Deep understanding of OSFI and Basel capital standards
• Advanced capabilities in communication and influence
• Proven track record in managing priorities and ambiguity
