There’s a lot happening at Magna Mining — and we’re looking for a Recruitment Coordinator to help us find and hire the people who will be part of what comes next.
This is a fast-moving role with plenty of variety, recruiting across operations, skilled trades, technical, professional, and corporate positions.
We’re looking for someone who can manage a lot of moving pieces without losing sight of the people behind them.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Coordinate recruitment from job posting through candidate selection, offer, pre-employment requirements, and onboarding.
- Source, screen, and engage candidates across operational, trades, technical, professional, and corporate positions.
- Coordinate interviews and keep candidates and hiring managers informed throughout the process.
- Prepare employment offers and coordinate approvals, references, testing, medicals, and other pre-employment requirements.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records, applicant tracking information, candidate pipelines, and reporting.
- Support internal recruitment processes in accordance with company requirements and applicable collective agreements.
- Participate in career fairs, community outreach, educational partnerships, and other talent attraction initiatives.
- Build relationships with recruitment partners and help develop talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Look for better ways of doing things and help improve recruitment processes, efficiency, technology, and the candidate experience.
Requirements
Who We’re Looking For
You might be a great fit if you:
- Have post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field.
- Have recruitment experience, with experience in mining, industrial, construction, trades, or another operational environment considered an asset.
- Are highly organized and can manage multiple vacancies, deadlines, and competing priorities at the same time.
- Communicate well and know how to build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
- Pay attention to the details and take pride in keeping your work accurate and organized.
- Take initiative and don't need someone telling you every next step.
- Are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.
- Know how to follow things through — from the first conversation to the signed offer.
- Are comfortable using Microsoft Office; experience with applicant tracking systems and recruitment platforms is considered an asset.
