Job Description

Reporting to the Director, Quality, the Manager, Quality Systems will lead the preventive and operational aspects of the Quality function across CIMA+. This corporate role is responsible for the systems, processes, data, tools, and support methods that enable teams to manage quality risks before they result in audit findings, non-conformities, or client issues. 

The incumbent will be responsible for a team of Quality Specialists and will provide matrix support to corporate Quality resources assigned to business sectors. The Manager will collaborate closely with the other members of the management team. 

This opportunity is intended for a pragmatic, systems-oriented professional who can connect ISO 9001 requirements, operational needs, technology, data, and team leadership within a national professional services environment. 

Job Responsibilities :

• Lead the design, the management, and the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS), including document planning, templates, impact analyses, training programs, commitment to the Quality Policy, and the integration of new or revised ISO 9001 requirements. 

• Design and implement a corporate framework for project quality planning and early intervention on high-risk, strategic, or complex projects, including selection criteria, deliverables, control points, roles, evidence requirements, and performance indicators. 

• Be accountable for the quality support model provided to business sectors and regions, including request intake, triage, prioritization, service levels, assignment, coaching, escalation, traceability, and value measurement. 

• Manage, develop, and oversee the expertise of a team of Quality Specialists while providing matrix support to Sector Quality Advisors. 

• Support service proposals, requests for

  qualifications

  (RFQs), prequalification questionnaires, and client forms related to quality requirements; maintain reusable content and supporting evidence, coordinate validations, and ensure that proposed commitments are accurate and achievable. 

• Represent the Quality function on operational committees, management committees, team meetings, and quarterly Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) committees; present performance results, trends, risks, initiative progress, and required decisions, and ensure appropriate follow-up on action items. 

• Collaborate with the Senior Quality Manager responsible for compliance to support certification readiness and convert audit findings into sustainable improvements, while preserving the independence of audit activities. 

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. A professional designation or quality certification is considered an asset. 

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management systems, process governance, or operational quality, preferably within professional services, consulting engineering, or another regulated environment. 

• Strong practical knowledge of ISO 9001 and demonstrated experience translating standards and business requirements into processes, controls, documentation, training programs, and operational evidence. 

• Minimum of 3 years of people management experience, including the ability to set priorities, develop talent, and influence multiple functions and management levels. This experience is considered an asset. 

• Experience with enterprise systems, functional requirements, data governance, user acceptance testing, dashboards, and analytics. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite is required. Knowledge of Power BI, Dynamics 365, or a QMS platform is considered an asset. 

• Excellent communication and presentation skills with diverse audiences, along with the ability to translate complex issues into clear decisions and actionable outcomes. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to work professionally in both French and English is required to ensure consistency in this national-level role.
