Nanny Wanted - Child Development Focused Nanny & Family Partner

We're a busy Toronto family with two little ones — a toddler (28 months) and an infant (8 months) — looking for someone who is more than just reliable childcare. We're looking for a genuine partner in our children's early development, someone who shows up with intention, warmth, and their own ideas. The primary focus of this role is our infant, with additional support for our toddler during morning drop-off prep and after school. You'll be the steady, engaged presence that holds our infant's days together while we're at work. This role starts mid-to-end of July, as mum returns to work in August. The contract runs through February, with the option to continue part-time after that for the right fit. Our household is guided by secure attachment and gentle parenting. That means no cry-it-out sleep training, no harsh discipline, and no screens as a substitute for connection. We set loving, firm limits and we expect the same from whoever cares for our kids in our absence. Must Haves: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with infants and toddlers in a caregiving role Valid CPR and First Aid certification (infant and child) A self-directed, proactive work style — you plan activities and anticipate needs without being prompted Comfort with light housekeeping and healthy food prep as part of the daily flow Warmth, reliability, and a calm, grounded presence with young children Bonus: Montessori training or experience applying Montessori principles at home (prepared environments, independence, child-led play) Nutrition, dietetics, or culinary background with a focus on whole foods and child nutrition Experience navigating food allergies or sensitivities (we have a family history of FPIES) Please visit to view full details and to apply.
