Automotive Mechanic

Location: Auto Magic, Prince George, BC
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: $30 Starting per hour (based on experience and certifications)

Auto Magic is a reputable automotive repair facility committed to providing high-quality service and customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems.
• Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
• Service and Repair, suspension, steering, and braking components.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify and repair vehicle issues accurately.
• Complete work orders and maintain accurate service records.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Communicate repair recommendations clearly with service advisors and customers when required.

Qualifications

• Valid Automotive Service Technician certification (Red Seal endorsement preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of automotive repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience with computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
