Job Responsibility:
Hybrid Project Manager & General Bookkeeper
Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual for a hybrid role that combines project management and general bookkeeping responsibilities. The ideal candidate will oversee projects from initiation to post-completion while also handling day-to-day financial tasks such as billing, payroll, invoicing, and GST. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage both operational and financial aspects of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management Duties:
- Plan, develop, and manage projects from start to finish.
- Prepare and submit building management schedules and reports.
- Lead purchasing and sales activities related to projects.
- Establish and maintain measurement frameworks to track project performance.
- Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to ensure project success.
Bookkeeping Duties:
- Manage general office bookkeeping tasks, including bills, payroll, invoicing, and GST.
- Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
- Track and manage project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency.
- Handle all aspects of accounts payable and receivable.
Work Environment:
- Primarily office-based with occasional visits to construction sites or other project locations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in both project management and bookkeeping, preferably in construction, property management, or related industries.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with accounting software and financial reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
