Location: Edmonton, AB Salary: $110,000 - $150,000 + Bonus + Benefits
About the Opportunity
A well-established and highly respected general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Edmonton team. With a strong reputation for delivering commercial, institutional, and mixed-use construction projects, this organization offers long-term stability, a collaborative culture, and an exciting pipeline of work across Alberta.
This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional looking to take ownership of projects from pre-construction through closeout while working alongside an experienced leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Lead construction projects from award through completion
- Manage project budgets, schedules, procurement, and contract administration
- Coordinate with owners, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams
- Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining profitability targets
- Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and schedule requirements
- Support pre-construction activities, budgeting, and value engineering initiatives
- Mentor and collaborate with Project Coordinators and site teams
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager within commercial construction
- Experience managing projects valued at $10M+ preferred
- Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, and contract management
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is considered an asset
