Accommodation Service Manager

2209664 Ontario Inc. O/A Knights Inn London Airport is looking to hire ‘Accommodation Service
Manager’ for their motel in London, ON. The Accommodation Service Manager is responsible for
day-to-day motel operations, including scheduling and training, supervising employees, etc. The
Accommodation Service Manager is responsible for preparing budgets and monitoring revenues and
expenses.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Work management in developing, implementing, and evaluating policies and procedures for
the operation of the department or establishment.
 Define and publish policies related to business operation and monitor them ongoing to
make desired changes
 Work with franchisee manager in reviewing the franchise requirement and implementing
them
 Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses
 Participate in the development of pricing and promotional strategies
 Negotiate with suppliers for the provision of materials and supplies
 Negotiate with clients for the use of facilities for conventions, banquets, receptions, and
other functions

 lnspect motel rooms, office and external premise for cleanliness and appearance as per the
franchise standard.
 Recruit and supervise staff
 Monitor Online reviews and reply to them and resolve customer complaints.
 Coordinate front-office duties and resolve problems if any.
 Analyzing financial information; collecting payment and recording money earned; receiving
and processing advanced payments.
 Confer and cooperate with other department managers to coordinate motel activities

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
 Education – College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program
of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience.
 Experience – 1 year to less than 2 years
 Work Setting – Hotel – Motel – Resort
 Work Conditions: Fast Paced Environment, Attention to details, Combination of Sitting,
Standing and walking, Standing for extended periods, and Overtime Required
 Ability to supervise 5 to 10 people
