Service Account Manager - Roofing

$75,000 – $85,000 a year - Office Full-time

Flynn Group of Companies is seeking a Roofing Service Account Manager to join our  Ottawa branch. This is a relationship-driven, client-facing role ideal for someone who thrives in sales, enjoys building long-term partnerships, and wants to grow their career in a dynamic construction and service environment. This position is Monday-Friday, with flexibility required to support client needs.

A Day in the Life

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients


• Actively generate new business 


• Conduct frequent client meetings, site visits, and presentations


• Attend local networking and industry events


• Identify client needs and recommend roofing service solutions


• Prepare and present estimates, proposals, and service solutions


• 
  

  Review drawings, blueprints, and specifications 



• Follow up on quotes, tenders, and opportunities to close business


• Collaborate with local and national teams to support key accounts


• 
  

  Support light project management and coordination of service work



• Manage a flexible schedule that supports ongoing relationship-building and business development

Requirements

• A diploma in Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, or a similar construction-related program


• 3 to 5 years of experience in a construction-related role such as Estimating, Project Management, or Project Coordination


• Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand building envelope and roofing systems


• 
  

  Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development



• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships


• Excellent communication and presentation abilities


• Sales mindset with the drive to grow business and meet targets


• 
  

  Ability to understand construction drawings/specifications



• Customer-focused with a high level of responsiveness


• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment


• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle


• Ability to pass a criminal background check
