CNC PUNCH PRESS OPERTOR-Markham, ONHours of work: Monday – Thursday 7am – 5pm and Friday 7am -11:15am

- Operate CNC press brake or similar bending machines to produce high-quality parts
- Set up, select, and modify CNC programs as required
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and measurements
- Perform basic programming edits using CNC controls and related software
- Load and unload materials and finished parts safely and efficiently
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards
- Maintain equipment and ensure machines and work areas are clean and in good working condition
- Perform routine machine maintenance including daily cleaning, lubrication, tooling inspections, and minor adjustments
- Conduct weekly and monthly preventative maintenance checks on machinery and report any mechanical or operational issues promptly
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate repairs or servicing as required to minimize downtime
- Ensure proper maintenance and storage of tooling, dies, and related equipment
- Maintain accurate maintenance and production records as required
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
- Ability to setup machine using engineering drawings
- Must be able to self-check for parts quality to ensure parts are produced defect-free.
- Have an aptitude for math, problem solving, and the ability to learn new skills.
- Ability to work independently and cooperate within a team.
- Ability to communicate well with others and be detailed-oriented.
- Willing and able to adapt to high pace and high-pressure work environment
