Engineer in Training II - ELDS Support

Embark on an engineering journey as an Engineer in Training II in Edmonton, AB, with a flexible hybrid work schedule. This position focuses on championing External Leak Detection Systems across multiple installations. In this Engineer in Training II role, you will provide crucial support for the Facilities & HCA Leak Detection Program. Your responsibilities will include monitoring ELDS systems, performing troubleshooting, and ensuring annual testing compliance. You will work directly with stakeholders to mitigate risks effectively and enhance operational reliability in high-consequence areas. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily/weekly performance monitoring of ELDS
- Identify and solve issues related to ELDS alarms
- Maintain comprehensive spare inventory for ELDS
- Manage annual testing documentation and reporting
- Propose and review system improvement recommendations
- Engineering or Technologist degree from a recognized institution
- EIT or similar designation preferable
- Strength in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Power BI is advantageous
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Capable of thriving in a hybrid work environment
