Intermediate Manufacturing Engineer in Nuclear

Step into an impactful role as an Intermediate Manufacturing Engineer focused on nuclear components. Join a leading Canadian organization in Cambridge, Ontario, involved in advanced nuclear technology and medical isotopes. You will develop and improve manufacturing procedures while maintaining quality standards. Collaborate closely with the Component Engineering department and guide peers in optimizing shop operations. Your work directly contributes to the success of nuclear power generation equipment and related services. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop shop documentation and procedures for various manufacturing processes
- Resolve non-conformities in collaboration with quality and suppliers
- Plan shop activities and conduct time studies for efficiency
- Maintain databases of tooling, gauges, and operational practices
- Design and draft tooling and equipment for effective shop activities
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of machine guarding and Statistical Process Control tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks
