Service/Parts Advisor

We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our team based out of our Calgary office who has experience with managing the parts for trucks and trailers. We are looking for a candidate with previous work experience and strong work ethics.

Job Duties

• Manage and track truck and trailer parts stock levels
• Order new inventory as needed and transfer invoices to the accounts department
• Help in the daily planning of repair and maintenance work schedules
• Enter repair and maintenance work into the company’s database
• Ensure timely service of company equipment, upholding truck and trailer compliance
• Coordinate with the safety department to notify drivers of services due
• Valid G license to pick up parts from dealerships as needed
• Ability to pick up and organize common parts within the shop.
• Handle other shop-related tasks as they arise

Requirements

• Minimum one-year experience as parts clerk/coordinator
• Hard worker with a positive attitude
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Willing to work extended hours and on weekends
• Valid G class license
• Preferred post-secondary education
