AI-Focused Payroll and Equity Analyst

Opendoor seeks an innovative analyst to streamline Payroll and Equity Operations through AI automation. Utilize your expertise to simplify workflows and enhance operational accuracy in this hands-on role. As a key member of the Opendoor team, you will report to the Payroll Manager and collaborate with Payroll, Equity, Accounting, and People teams. Your primary goal is to build AI agents and automated workflows, addressing manual processes and creating efficient data flows. You will have the opportunity to impact homeownership solutions through technology-driven improvements. Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in payroll workflows
- Build AI agents for consistent task execution
- Create automations for payroll data validation and reporting
- Improve integrations between payroll systems and tools
- Test AI solutions with a focus on human review
- Experience with AI agents and automation tools
- Ability to work with APIs and structured data
- Strong problem-solving and operational improvement skills
- Attention to detail in confidential information
- Desire to learn payroll processes
