Job Summary: We are looking to hire a 360 (sales + recruitment) or a Director of Business Development (sales) for our Skilled Trades division in British Columbia. We’re looking for experienced and hands-on 360 staffing professionals with strong sales & recruitment background from the recruiting/staffing industry who want to be part of a dynamic, growing, and winning team! This is a hybrid position (3 days in office, 2 days remote); it will be based at our Burnaby, BC office location.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Full cycle recruitment; filling professional & office positions (all levels)
• New business development selling all lines of business, with a focus on skilled trades roles/niche
• Collaborate with leadership and team to build a positive and productive work environment
• Lead and manage the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting to closing deals
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the recruitment and staffing industry through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and other lead-generation methods
• Develop and implement strategic plans to target key markets and potential clients
• Engage with hiring managers across diverse industries to understand their staffing needs for both temporary and permanent positions
• Schedule and conduct regular in-person or virtual client meetings to present solutions and build relationships
• Build and nurture strong, long-term client relationships across various departments and organizational levels
• Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales goals and performance targets

Qualifications/Requirements

• 2+ years 360 (sales & recruitment) or just sales/business development experience from the staffing industry
• Specialize in filling skilled trades/technical positions (all levels)
• Able to adapt to changing market conditions and pivot strategies as needed
• Has passion and skills for new business development (full sales process); with strong ability to network and grow relationships at all levels
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal & external contacts
• Excellent computer skills and tech savvy
• Proficiency (or passion to learn) advancing technology with AI and recruitment/sales automation
• Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to use reporting insights to drive strategic decisions
• Strong work ethic with integrity & high standards of excellence
• Tenacity, initiative, and drive balanced with flexibility and adaptability
• Personable, energetic, positive with a “can-do” attitude!
