Title of the Position: Cardiologist ( NOC 31100)
Job Duties: The Cardiologist will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with cardiac and vascular diseases. This includes conducting thorough assessments, diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, and implementing appropriate interventions. The Cardiologist will also perform diagnostic procedures. The care team includes Cardiologist, General Internist, and cardiac care nurses and the role involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care.
Terms of Employment: Temporary, full-time position (rotational locum position). Rotation is to work at our clinic approximately 4-5 weeks per quarter. Minimum 30 hours a week.

Wage: Compensation is based on a Fee for Service model. Competitive overhead rates. The hourly earning potential ranges from $189.61 to $375 per hour. The expected income depends on number of patients seen and tests interpreted, which may vary.

Skills Requirements:
• Independent Practice Certificate of Registration from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario ( CPSO )
• Membership in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario ( CPSO )
• Royal College certification in Cardiology (or pending certification)
• Board Certified U.S.-trained specialists in Cardiology may be granted equivalence to the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of
Canada certification in Cardiology. In that case, they would be eligible for an independent license in Ontario.
• Medical liability insurance from the Canadian Medical Protective Association ( CMPA ) or equivalent required, appropriate to the category of practice
