- Approximately 44 hours per week
- Monday to Saturday (5 working days per week)
- Sundays off
- Must be available to work Saturdays
- Typical showroom hours: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Showroom Sales Consultant to join our Lighting Division. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within the lighting, electrical, home décor, interior design, construction, or related industries and possess a passion for helping customers select lighting solutions that meet both functional and aesthetic requirements.
This position offers the opportunity to work in a professional showroom environment while building long-term relationships with homeowners, contractors, designers, builders, and electricians.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers visiting the showroom while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Guide customers through the selection of residential and commercial lighting products.
- Recommend lighting solutions based on customer needs, project requirements, budgets, and design preferences.
- Prepare quotations, process sales orders, and follow up on customer inquiries and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, builders, contractors, electricians, and interior designers.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person consultations.
- Maintain current knowledge of lighting products, industry trends, specifications, and applications.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding product availability, lead times, and special orders.
- Assist with merchandising, showroom presentation, and maintenance of product displays.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Contribute to achieving showroom sales targets and overall business objectives.
Qualifications
- Previous experience within the lighting, electrical, construction, home décor, interior design, or related industry is strongly preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of sales and customer service experience.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Comfortable using computers, email, Microsoft Office, and point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to learn and communicate technical product information.
- Experience working with builders, contractors, designers, or electrical suppliers is considered an asset.
