Live-In Caregiver Needed- Moderate Dementia Care & Dog Care

I am looking for a kind, reliable, and compassionate live-in caregiver to stay with my mother and care for our three friendly dogs for approx. 13 days while I am away in end of August and on occasion when I need to be away for the day. My mom has moderate dementia and some mobility issues. She is friendly, enjoys conversation, and does well with gentle guidance and routine. Responsibilities include: Preparing and serving meals. Providing reminders and gentle guidance throughout the day. Assisting with showering (mainly prompting and supervision as needed). Ensuring she takes her vitamins twice a day. Helping her get into bed at night if needed. Driving her to her adult day program 2–3 mornings per week, arriving by 9:00 a.m. Feeding our three dogs twice a day. Walking the dogs three times a day. Light housekeeping, including cleaning up after meals and keeping the home tidy. Ideal Candidate: Experience caring for someone with dementia is preferred. Patient, dependable, and compassionate. Comfortable with dogs. Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle required for transportation to the day program. References and a vulnerable sector/criminal record check are preferred. This is a live-in position for the full 13-day period. Private accommodations will be provided.
