Company Description York Radiology Consultants Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an X-Ray Technologist located in Toronto, ON. The X-Ray Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining effective communication with patients and the healthcare team. Additionally, the technologist will adhere to radiation safety protocols, operate radiographic equipment, and assist in patient care procedures. This role requires precise documentation, including recording patient history and verifying procedures, as well as maintaining equipment and work area hygiene. Qualifications - Certification with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario Registry of Radiologic Technologists (CMRITO)
- Knowledge and adherence to Radiation Safety protocols
- Proficiency in Radiologic Technology and Radiology
- Strong understanding of Medicine and patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus, new graduates are welcomed!
- Completion of accredited radiography program
