Maintenance Millwright

TalentWorld is recruiting a Millwright (433A) in Elora, Ontario for one of its valued partners.

Millwright Responsibilities:

• Respond to machine breakdowns and emergency repair calls to maximize equipment uptime
• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on plant machinery and equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and systems
• Perform welding and fabrication as required
• Maintain plant plumbing, including repairs to steam and water leaks
• Support maintenance of lift truck batteries and chargers
• Assist with parts inventory and identify required replacement components
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and equipment modifications
• Coordinate with contractors and other trades as required
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Complete maintenance activities in accordance with plant safety and quality standards

Millwright Qualifications:

• Valid 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) licence with apprenticeship
• 3–5 years of Millwright experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with preventative and corrective maintenance
• Welding and fabrication capabilities
• Ability to work independently and respond effectively to equipment breakdowns
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work a flexible night schedule covering the required 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. core hours
