Airworthiness Systems Engineer Role Quebec City

Join General Dynamics Mission Systems-Canada as an Airworthiness Systems Engineer, focusing on certification and compliance in aerospace projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to airworthiness regulations.
In this full time position, you will manage key certification tasks including the preparation and submission of certification data packages to aviation authorities. You will participate in design reviews and track compliance with airworthiness standards throughout the project lifecycle. Your guidance will be vital in ensuring all aircraft designs and modifications meet safety and regulatory criteria.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate on certification plans for assigned projects
- Liaise with airworthiness authorities for approvals
- Review design changes and assess their certification impact
- Participate in design and peer reviews of critical documents
- Ensure timely compliance program updates and documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
- In-depth knowledge of certification processes
- Proficient in engineering drawings interpretation
- Familiarity with DND/CF Airworthiness Program
- Defence or Aerospace experience is advantageous
