- Installer ou modifier des moteurs d'aéronefs ou d'autres systèmes d'aéronefs, comme des systèmes mécaniques et hydrauliques, des systèmes de contrôle de vol, des circuits de carburant et des systèmes pneumatiques
- Tenir des rapports détaillés concernant la réparation, le contrôle et la certification des aéronefs
- Démonter des cellules, des moteurs ou d'autres systèmes d'aéronefs pour les réparer, les remettre en état et les nettoyer, et les remonter
- Vérifier le travail des mécaniciens d'aéronefs chargés de modification des aéronefs ou des systèmes mécaniques d'aéronefs afin d'assurer le respect des normes et des procédures établies
- Effectuer l'entretien systématique et en faire le compte rendu
