About this Position:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Ground Logistics Coordinator to manage and oversee the domestic transportation and yard coordination of our cargo. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth delivery operations by bridging communication between internal teams, trucking service providers, customers, and storage yards. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills, along with the ability to manage multiple moving parts in adynamic logistics environmen

• Collaborate closely with the company's ocean logistics personnel to stay up-to-date on shipment statuses and proactively prepare ground transportation plans.
• Coordinate with trucking companies to arrange inland transportation from ports or rail terminals to designated destinations.
• Maintain active communication with customers to provide updated ETAs, discuss trucking schedules, and address client-specific logistics requirements.
• Liaise with storage yards to arrange inbound inventory receiving and ensure accurate documentation.
• Manage outbound dispatches by coordinating inventory release from storage yards in a timely manner.
• Collect, verify, and upload all documentation related to inland transportation, including but not limited to PODs, EIRs, tally sheets, and invoices.
• Negotiate with trucking providers to secure the most competitive freight rates and optimize cost efficiency for the company.
• Monitor performance of trucking partners to ensure compliance with safety, punctuality, and service standards.
• Support inventory reconciliation and maintain accurate records of cargo movement and storage.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in freight logistics, trucking coordination, or transportation management is required.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal; Mandarin proficiency is an asset.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
• Familiarity with logistics documentation and common transport-related terms (POD, EIR, etc.).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and logistics tracking systems.
• Excellent negotiation, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
