About Our Client
Our client is seeking a Director, FP&A, for a six-month contract.

About the Opportunity

• Support month-end reporting, forecasting, and budgeting activities
• Assist with reforecasting, variance analysis, and trend analysis
• Review financial results for completeness, accuracy, and key changes relative to plan or prior periods for all locations
• Partner with finance team members and operational leaders to gather inputs, ask questions, and follow up on variances
• Provide oversight and coordination across multiple workstreams within the finance function
• Contribute to product costing and analysis, including material, labor, and related cost drivers (i.e. labour utilization)
• Help improve reporting visibility and reduce workload pressure on senior finance leadership

About You

• Progressive experience in finance, FP&A, or operational finance roles
• Strong background in forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis
• Experience working with costing, margin analysis, or operational/manufacturing finance is an asset
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, investigate variances, and communicate findings clearly
• Comfortable working cross-functionally and coordinating with multiple stakeholders
• Able to operate in a fast-paced environment with limited oversight
• Prior leadership or team management experience is preferred
• Strong communicator with a polished and professional presence
• Able to balance hands-on execution with big-picture thinking
• Quick learner with strong judgment and the ability to ask the right questions
• Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable stepping into an evolving environment
