Retail Area Manager (ON )

Job Summary

MINISO Canada is currently expanding and we are looking for a Retail Area Manager to support stores across the Ontario region , primarily covering Waterloo, Kitchener, Cambridge, Guelph, London, Brantford, Sarnia, Windsor, and Thunder Bay .
Major Responsibilities:

• Ensure all assigned stores operate efficiently and in full compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures

• Develop and manage budgets, sales targets, and KPIs for each store within the Ontario region

• Recruit, train, coach, and develop store managers and retail associates

• Oversee daily store operations and conduct regular store visits to ensure consistent execution and performance

• Monitor and manage inventory levels, product distribution, and store merchandising standards

• Analyze store performance and implement strategies to improve sales, profitability, and operational efficiency

• Prepare and review reports, including sales performance, labour costs, and operational metrics

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, merchandising, HR) to ensure smooth business operations

• Manage labour scheduling, control operating expenses, and optimize cost efficiency

• Drive customer service excellence and ensure a consistent brand experience across all locations

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of retail management experience , preferably managing multiple store locations

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred

• Eligible to work in Canada

• Strong leadership skills with a results-driven mindset

• Excellent merchandising and store execution capabilities

• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across a geographically dispersed region

• A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle are required

• Willingness to travel frequently between Ontario store locations, including Waterloo, Kitchener, Cambridge, Guelph, London, Brantford, Sarnia, Windsor, and Thunder Bay

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and retail reporting systems
