SKYTRAC Structural Design Engineer Role

Elevate your engineering career as a Structural Design and Airworthiness Engineer at SKYTRAC in Kelowna, BC. As an integral member of the Design Approval Organization (DAO) at SKYTRAC, you will lead structural engineering efforts for various modification programs. The role involves interfacing with regulatory bodies while ensuring designs meet airworthiness regulations. Collaboration with a variety of engineering disciplines is key to achieving compliant and airworthy outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead structural substantiation activities for STC projects
- Conduct various engineering analyses, including stress evaluations
- Create certification documentation ensuring regulatory compliance
- Engage in aircraft installation reviews for structural integrity
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in certification standards
- Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering
- At least 3 years of related structural analysis experience
- P.Eng. designation or eligibility preferred
- Expertise in airworthiness standards (FAR/CAR)
- Proficiency in structural tools and methods (FEM/FEA)
