Structural Design Engineer at SKYTRAC

Enhance aviation safety as a Structural Design Engineer at SKYTRAC in Kelowna, British Columbia. Focus on structural analysis and certification for aircraft modifications in this in-office role. As a critical member of the SKYTRAC engineering team, you will lead structural analysis and ensure compliance with aviation regulations for STC programs. Your expertise will support various concurrent development initiatives as you prepare essential documentation for TCCA, FAA, and EASA. Collaborating with avionics and systems engineers, you will play a vital role in delivering airworthy designs. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead structural analysis for STC airframe modifications
• Develop and review certification deliverables and reports
• Prepare compliance documentation for aviation authorities
• Support structural integrity verification through aircraft surveys
• Mentor junior engineers on certification processes Requirements:
• Engineering degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering
• Minimum 3+ years of aircraft structural analysis experience
• Eligibility or qualified Engineer (P.Eng.) designation
• Proficiency in structural analysis methods (FEM/FEA)
