Walmart Relief Pharmacist Opportunity

Be a key player in pharmacy operations with Walmart as a Relief Pharmacist in Regina, Saskatchewan. Your main focus will be on safe and efficient prescription filling alongside providing stellar patient service. Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for managing prescriptions, ensuring compliance with established workflows, and fostering strong relationships within the healthcare community. This role entails traveling to various locations and following a Relief program schedule to meet diverse patient needs while ensuring adherence to professional standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer prescriptions and refill requests accurately
- Counsel patients on products and services available
- Operate necessary pharmacy equipment while safeguarding privacy
- Comply with OBWs/SOPs and ensure proper product storage
- Collaborate with health care providers in the community
- Pharmacist License valid in Saskatchewan
- Additional Alberta prescribing authorization preferred
- Flexible with travel requirements across assigned locations
- Strong communication skills for patient interactions
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of care
