Female Maintenance Technician

Job Responsibility:
At AVS Hospitality, we're committed to creating safe, respectful, and well-maintained living environments for our residents. We are currently seeking a female Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep of a newly renovated multi-unit residential building.
This part-time, on-call role is ideal for a resourceful, experienced individual who takes pride in hands-on maintenance work. The successful candidate will be comfortable with tasks including drywall repair, painting, plumbing, and basic electrical work.
Please note: This role is being hired specifically for a female technician at the request of the client to meet the comfort needs of the building's residents.
Responsibilities
General Repairs Perform routine maintenance including drywall patching, painting, minor plumbing, and electrical repairs to ensure the building remains in top condition.
On-Call Support Respond to occasional after-hours maintenance needs as they arise.
Property Inspections Conduct regular walk-throughs to identify potential issues and perform proactive maintenance.
Independent Work Use your own tools and skills to complete tasks efficiently and reliably.
Basic Reporting Document work completed to support property records and future maintenance planning.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in building maintenance, repairs, or a related trade.
- Confidence in handling drywall, painting, plumbing, and light electrical work.
- A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and respond to issues quickly.
- Experience in residential buildings or multi-unit dwellings is preferred.
