Senior Advertising Video Editor

Lead advertising edits in Toronto with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, using a hybrid schedule with Tuesdays and Thursdays in-office.
The Kitchen seeks an experienced Senior Editor for its growing in-house post-production capability. You will shape food, beverage, and food-adjacent advertising across social, digital, broadcast, and integrated campaigns. The work requires strong editorial judgment, motion graphics expertise, and collaborative production experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead offline editorial across broadcast, digital, social, and branded campaigns
- Edit short-form, :06, :15, :30, and longer-form storytelling
- Lead supervised sessions and recommend real-time editorial solutions
- Create motion graphics, typography, transitions, and end cards
- Prepare final files and perform editorial quality control
Requirements:
- Seven or more years of professional editorial experience
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Strong proficiency in After Effects and motion graphics
- Professional advertising portfolio or reel demonstrating editorial craft
- Experience with media management, codecs, formats, and versioning
