Major Projects Director for Power Canada

WSP

Lead transformative energy projects as WSP's Major Projects Director. Take charge of large-scale power infrastructure initiatives and drive strategic project outcomes. WSP is seeking a visionary leader to oversee major projects in areas like Hydropower and Telecommunications. This role entails providing director-level oversight and guidance to multidisciplinary teams, ensuring projects meet financial and operational objectives. Your strategic vision will drive innovation while supporting a cleaner energy future for Canada. Key Responsibilities:

Manage the execution of large-scale energy projects
Align teams towards shared project goals
Promote a safety and compliance culture
Build and mentor project leadership teams
Engage actively with clients and regulators

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
At least 15 years of experience in relevant sectors
Proven experience in complex project management
Strong knowledge of project delivery models
PMP certification is an advantage
