Senior Agent, Accounts Payables – Montreal, Quebec (Canada). Full‑time permanent position.

Overview

Reporting to the Supervisor, Accounts Payable, you will ensure optimal administration of accounts payable.

Responsibilities

• Enter invoices in the various Domtar payable systems.
• Assist the Supervisor in the reconciliation of accounts payable.
• Mail and execute the weekly check run to all mills and internal customers.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Communicate with locations, vendors, and managers to maintain updated information files.
• Advise the Supervisor on possible improvements in assigned tasks.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in French and English (Required).
• College degree in accounting or minimum three years of relevant experience in accounts payable processing in an SAP environment.
• Minimum three years of experience in a similar position.
• Mastery of Microsoft Excel functionalities.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
