Position Overview
Wood Buffalo Animal Hospital is located in the heart of Fort McMurray, Alberta.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care, including surgical and dental procedures.
- Make independent clinical decisions and manage complex cases.
- Respond to emergencies.
- Leverage medical knowledge, teamwork, and emotional intelligence to deliver exceptional veterinary medicine.
- Lead and mentor the veterinary team, providing clinical leadership.
- Maintain a warm and welcoming environment.
Qualifications
- 3–7 years of veterinary experience.
- Proficiency in surgical and dental procedures.
- Strong medical expertise and emotional intelligence.
- Confidence in independent decision‑making.
- Hold or be eligible to hold a General Practice Registered Veterinarian license in Alberta.
