AI-Native Engineering Manager
CaptivateIQ
Lead AI-native engineering for CaptivateIQ’s incentive compensation operations, with technical leadership and remote work available across the United States or Canada.
As Senior Engineering Manager, you’ll lead the team building payouts, reporting, inquiries, and statements for hundreds of organizations. You’ll own delivery and outcomes while partnering with Product, Design, Platform Engineering, Customer Success, Support, and Sales. The work centers on transforming manual workflows through AI agents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hire, inspire, and develop software engineers across experience levels
- Set product vision, prioritize roadmaps, and shape long-term strategy
- Own delivery, reliability, performance, security, and operational excellence
- Guide architecture and major technical decisions without hands-on contribution
- Champion AI-native incentive compensation operations and agent-driven workflows
Requirements:
- Five-plus years managing software engineers
- Eight-plus years of full-time software development experience
- Track record hiring and developing engineering talent
- Technical depth guiding senior engineers through complex architecture
- Enthusiasm for AI-native products, AI, and agents
