Expected Start Date: September 07, 2026 Union: HSAS Facility: Nurses Alumni Wing City/Town: Saskatoon Department: Mental Health Community Clinics&Programs - Youth Community Counselling Type: Full-time regular FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Number of Hours per Rotation: shifts of 224 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Field Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Addictions Counsellor - Diploma $29.584 to $36.176 Travel Required: Yes Job : The Addictions Counsellor Diploma will be accountable for providing outreach services in partnership with other programs in Mental Health and Addiction Services, Saskatoon, and others that are external, such as schools, youth secure detox, and crisis intervention. The incumbent will develop a personal needs assessment in consultation with the youth and their families, and facilitate the recovery process by referring, supporting, and advocating for the appropriate services. The incumbent will meet the needs of the client in and empathic and ethical manner consistent with Saskatchewan Health Authority philosophies and standards. This position is part of the Youth Mental Health & Addiction Services department and is located out of the NAW Building. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement" Human Resources Exemption: No Experience- One (1) year experience in clinically supervised MHAS counseling required
