Optical Sales Assistant and Admin

Job Responsibility:
Binocular Vision Eyecare is a full scope Optometry office with state of the art equipment. We are Tottenham's first full scope clinic with Vision Therapy services, Dry Eye Spa, Complete Dispensary with eyeglasses and sunglasses, Same day urgent appointments, Contact lens assessments, Myopia management and much more. We strive in providing exceptional customer service to our patients with comprehensive knowledge of their eye health, eyewear, and other eye care needs. We are looking for someone who is excited to be working in Eyecare, someone who is positive, caring, eager to work and learn, a team player, responsible and proactive.
Responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Exceptional customer service for all patients, professional at all times
- Answering phones, booking appointments, and routine daily operational tasks
- Auxiliary pre-tests and other diagnostic tests as needed
- Teaching contact lens insertion and removal
- Selecting and dispensing appropriate eyewear for patients, selecting appropriate lenses for patients.
- Ordering glasses/mananging inventory/warranties/exchanges
-Preparing lab orders/contact lens orders
-Arranging pick ups and drop offs for patient eyewear
- Frame repairs and adjustments
Qualifications:
- Excellent communicator, problem-solver, and enthusiastic learner
- Attention to detail and style, approachable and self-motivated
- Retail experience or customer service background is beneficial but not required
- Minimum of 2 years of retail optical dispensary experience is required
- Flexible availability: able to work 1 evening and alternating Saturdays
