About the team

Make an impact in our storytelling squad!

We're looking for an content marketer who gets genuinely excited about writing and editing and is eager to learn and apply key business skills such as communications, time management, feedback exchange, presentation, and collaboration. You'll help guide Kinaxis's expert voice—reviewing content for brand consistency and style and helping to craft everything from thought-provoking articles to helpful industry guides to snappy social posts that actually resonate with people trying to solve real supply chain problems.

Reporting to our Senior Content Manager, you'll tap into your writing, editing, research, networking, and storytelling superpowers to create and edit content across every platform that matters. Think long-form deep dives, bite-sized social gems, compelling speeches, and ads that people actually want to read. You'll collaborate with brilliant minds across our company to showcase our brand vision, innovative approach, and game-changing products in ways that spark genuine engagement. You’ll also help push what great content execution, led by humans, looks like in a world where AI is also a valuable tool.

If in Ottawa, you must be in the office at least three days a week. Other Canadian Locations - REMOTE

Term Duration

This is a full-time 8, or 12-month position, starting January, 2027.

Co-op / Intern Eligibility

This position is open to co-ops and interns. To be eligible, you must be currently enrolled in full-time education or be a recent/upcoming graduate within 12 months of the placement end date.

Compensation range

$19.46 - $28.55 hourly rate. The final offer within this range will reflect the candidate’s skills, year of education, and experience.

What you'll be doing (the fun stuff):

• Shape our brand personality – Help define the voice and tone that makes Kinaxis instantly recognizable across every channel
• Be our brand guardian – Review content from across the business to ensure everything aligns with our style guidelines and sounds unmistakably like us
• Broaden our reach – Experiment with new forms of content and distribution, empowering us to reach target audiences in new and impactful ways
• Create content that converts – Develop compelling stories across the entire funnel (TOFU to MOFU) that don't just engage but actually drive results
• Stay ahead of the curve – Keep your finger on the pulse of industry trends, research, and content performance to fuel fresh ideas
• Discover the hidden world of supply chains – Dive into supply chains and technology and discover the key themes, pain points, and trends that keep our audiences up at night
• Hunt for great stories – Research and interview internal and external experts and industry leaders to uncover the narratives that need telling

Primary skills and qualifications:

• Pursuing or have recently graduated from a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, Journalism, Creative Writing, English, or related field
• Great writing and editing skills. You have an eagle eye to spot inconsistencies and you have a knack for writing pithy but substantial sentences.
• Active listening superpowers with the ability to synthesize feedback
• Curiosity and a hunger for knowledge. You get excited by learning about topics you know nothing about. You’re able to study, learn, ask questions, and internalize knowledge.
• Natural problem-solver who embraces change and gets energized by delivering results
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and business intelligence tools
• Basic HTML and web publishing knowledge
• You can use AI to complement your writing but not replace it; You have a talent for making AI-written content not read like AI-written content

• Demonstrated writing, editing, and proofreading excellence with chameleon-like ability to adapt tone for different audiences and channels
• Commitment to maintaining our security and confidentiality standards
• Work is conducted within the standards and practices of Kinaxis Inc. Adherence to all security and confidentiality is required.
• You’re very organized and good at keeping track of your tasks and communicating well with others with updates, progress, or roadblocks.
