GFL Environmental Senior Financial Analyst

Elevate financial operations at GFL Environmental Services as a Senior Financial Analyst. Employ your analytics and communication skills to drive financial insights and operational improvements. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will provide essential support to the Controller and collaborate closely with various teams. Responsibilities include preparing journal entries, overseeing balances, and coordinating transaction reconciliations. You will also handle forecasting and reporting for financial results, ensuring adherence to company policies and deadlines. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and reconcile journal entries and balance sheets
- Ensure compliance with policies in financial transactions
- Support teams on billing and accounts payable needs
- Assist in capital requests, budgets, and forecasts
- Conduct variance analysis and lead project deliveries
- CPA designation and a degree in Finance or Accounting
- 3-5 years of experience post-certification
- Knowledge of the waste industry is advantageous
- Skilled in Microsoft Suite and Workday
- Proven leadership and analytical skills
