Logistics and International Trade Coordinator

Job Overview:

The Logistics and International Trade Coordinator manages all customs documentation and administrative coordination related to international shipments, including: certification requests (Nexus, Eco-Cert), follow-up on files with customs brokers, keeping the shipping log up to date, and planning transfers between the various 3PLs (Canada, US, and Prana). This position ensures smooth communication between internal customer service, the sales team, and the external partners involved in the export process.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily communication with internal customer service and the sales team regarding shipment status.
• Draft, prepare, and manage the international documentation required for exports.
• Submit documentation requests through Nexus, Eco-Cert, and other platforms, according to the specific requirements of each destination country, prior to shipment departure.
• Follow up on files with customs brokers.
• Keep the shipping log up to date.
• Handle general administrative tasks (paperwork) related to shipments.
• Responsible for planning transfers between 3PLs (Canada, US, and Prana).

Job Requirements

• College diploma (DEC) in logistics, international trade, administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Relevant experience in customs documentation, international logistics, or shipping-related customer service.
• Knowledge of export processes and international documentation requirements (a strong asset).
• Proficiency in the Office suite (Excel, Outlook) and comfort with management systems (ERP, WMS).
• Knowledge of Nexus, Eco-Cert, CFIA, FDA platforms (an asset).
• Bilingual in French/English, spoken and written.
• Strong organizational skills, rigor, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
• Autonomy and ability to work under tight deadlines.
