Ultrasonography Technologist Position at Bruyère Health

Elevate your career as an Ultrasonography Technologist with Bruyère Health, where you will deliver essential diagnostic imaging services in a supportive and innovative environment. You will be responsible for performing ultrasound procedures without direct supervision, ensuring excellence in patient care and the quality of your imaging. Reporting to the Chief Technologist, you will bring at least one year of experience in diverse ultrasound areas, emphasizing collaboration and compassion. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic ultrasound procedures autonomously
- Produce and document high-equality ultrasound images
- Prioritize excellent patient care in all efforts
- Remain accountable to the supervising radiologist
- Participate in ongoing professional learning opportunities
- Three-year Diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound from accredited program
- One year experience in practice areas such as obstetrics
- Registration with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Registration with the College of Medical Radiological Technologists in Ontario
- Good grasp of medical terminology and independence
