Automotive Parts Receiver

Job Responsibility:

We are seeking a proactive and multilingual Automotive Parts Receiver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and managing automotive parts and supplies. The ideal candidate must be fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin to effectively communicate with our diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments of automotive parts and supplies.
• Inspect deliveries for damage, discrepancies, or shortages.
• Verify accuracy of orders and ensure proper documentation.
• Organize and store parts in designated areas.
• Handle returns of defective or excess parts.
• Follow up with suppliers to arrange returns and ensure timely credits.
• Monitor and follow up on backorders with dealerships.
• Maintain accurate records of backorders and communicate status updates.
• Assist with loading and unloading shipments as needed.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety and inventory control procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
• Valid G driver's license with a clean driving abstract.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Ability to handle returns and follow up with suppliers for credits.
• Experience in monitoring and following up on backorders is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
